Hi, my name is Kristina. In 1989 when I was 7 years old my family fled our home Odessa, Ukraine. Even at a young age I remember how scared my family was trying to cross the border safely and all the kindness shown from the families helping us escape. There are so many families with minimal resources that need help to cross the border safely and gain access to basic necessities.

 

I am asking all of my close family, friends, and the community to donate. We need to help those in their most difficult time. This campaign will aid families across the border to safety and send basic human necessities to those standing strong and fierce fighting for their home.

 

Putin will not let up, millions of families and children are suffering. These are not people with limited resources or money; their church and faith are what keeps them going. I know that we can rally and help families in need. Honestly, this is my first time setting up a campaign; I can't stand by and let the suffering continue when I was in the same exact spot just 33 years ago!! I will keep fighting for my people back home. I am one person, but together we can help so much more. I pray and hope we can reach our goal and help those struggling families.

 

Putin's attack on my homeland has killed 400 Ukrainians. Over a million people have been displaced, and in Ukraine that means no adequate water, heat, electricity and the inability to have access to stores to get basic necessities. Most of the country doesn't shop in stores; they rely on shopping at markets, and with those gone, these people are in dire need of our help. I genuinely hope that we can rally together!
